Your right to withdraw from a purchase, and how to exercise it.

Subscription — Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights

Swiss Law

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online for digital content and services (cf. Art. 40a et seq. CO, which only apply to doorstep transactions). However, the subscription can be cancelled at any time via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the currently paid billing period.

EU Consumers: 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union or the European Economic Area generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts pursuant to Art. 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive).

Note: For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if you expressly consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive). This consent is obtained during the purchase process in the app store.

If the right of withdrawal still applies, you may revoke your contractual declaration within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact:

Refunds via the App Store

Refunds for subscriptions are processed through the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). The refund policies of the respective provider apply.

Cancelling the Subscription

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, you can cancel the subscription at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the currently paid billing period. Full functionality remains available until then.

Your Data After Cancellation

Baby Monitor Timmy does not store personal data. The app uses exclusively anonymous authentication (Firebase Anonymous Auth), which does not collect email addresses, passwords, or other personal information.

Session data (SDP offers, ICE candidates, pairing codes) is automatically deleted after the session ends. Anonymised, encrypted session metadata is fully deleted within 24 hours at most. After uninstallation, no personal data remains in our systems. Payment data is processed exclusively by the respective app store and is not transmitted to us.
