Interactive web demo

Try Timmy right here

The demo shows the real Flutter screens in your browser, but deliberately stays in safe demo mode: no Firebase, no TURN, no real pairing, and no microphone access.

The demo intentionally keeps a phone-shaped viewport so it still feels like the mobile app on large screens.

Live now

Timmy Web Companion: baby monitor right in your browser

Use Timmy in your browser now — as a parent or baby device, securely paired with your premium mobile app and without a separate web subscription.

🔗

Paired through your app

Enter a short code from your phone in the browser, confirm the safety digits and start a web session as a companion to your existing Timmy pairing.

🛡️

Parent or baby role

The browser can act as the parent or baby side depending on your phone's role. In Baby mode, the browser needs microphone access.

💻

Premium app stays the gatekeeper

The web version has no subscription of its own. Your premium app authorizes each browser session and forwards short-lived connection data encrypted.

Production note: keep the browser tab in the foreground during use; background operation and battery saving stay with the mobile app.

For real family nights

Everything you need, without the uneasy cloud feeling

Timmy is built for parents who want something simple and still want to know what happens to nursery data.

01

A spare phone becomes useful again

Place one Android device in the nursery and keep yours with you. No extra baby monitor and no new hardware.

02

Audio first, video on purpose

You hear what is happening right away. Turn on live video only when it genuinely helps.

03

Privacy is built in

No account, no tracking, no ads. Servers never see audio or video data.

End-to-end encryption between two devices with shield

Security without jargon

Encrypted before your baby makes a sound

Audio and video run end-to-end encrypted between your devices via WebRTC. Pairing includes a short safety check, so you know exactly which two phones belong together.

Not a data-collection app

Timmy does not need to know when your child sleeps

There are no analytics, no cookies, and no ad SDKs. Temporary signaling data is encrypted and removed after the connection is established. Your family routine stays with you.

For real homes

Stays connected when the network changes

Noise detection alerts you when your baby makes sounds. Timmy reconnects automatically on network changes and warns you about a connection loss when no signal has been received for more than 15 seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Timmy really free?

Timmy offers a free trial period. After that, you can continue using the app with an affordable monthly subscription. Important: one subscription on either paired device unlocks both. All core features are available — no ads, no tracking.

How secure is the connection?

Audio and video are transmitted directly between your devices via WebRTC — end-to-end encrypted with DTLS-SRTP. No server can listen in. Additionally, signaling is encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

Is my data stored?

No. Timmy stores no audio, video, or usage data. There are no analytics, no cookies, no ad SDKs. The server only holds temporary, encrypted signaling data (SDP/ICE), which is removed immediately after the connection is established. Any remaining anonymous session metadata is automatically deleted within 24 hours.

Does Timmy work over the internet?

Yes. Timmy works on the same Wi-Fi network and over the internet. On network changes, the app reconnects automatically. For internet connections, a secure TURN relay server is used.

Do I need an account?

No. Timmy requires no registration and no account. Devices are connected directly via a secure pairing code.

Does Timmy work on iPhone or iPad?

Not yet. Timmy is currently Android-only and works best when you use two Android phones. Many parents use a spare Android phone as the baby device.

What does "separated security core" mean?

The security-relevant parts of Timmy are deliberately separated from the rest of the app: backend logic, signaling contracts, and pairing cryptography. They are now published in the public baby-monitor-timmy-core repository, while the full app source remains private.

Ready for the next calm night?

Try Timmy free for one month

Install Timmy on two Android phones, pair them securely, and decide calmly afterwards. After the trial, the shared subscription costs CHF 1 / EUR 1 per month.
