On the same Wi-Fi, the phones find each other automatically when local-network access is allowed. Or enter the short code – even across different networks.
Confirm the same number.
Compare the safety number on both phones. This confirms that you are connecting the right devices.
Choose the roles. You are ready.
Start one phone as the baby device and place it near your baby. Keep the other as the parent device.
Your connection stays saved.
Choose it again next time. You can save and name up to eight connections. This does not mean you can connect eight devices at once.

Timmy is an app that turns two Android or iOS smartphones into a baby monitor with audio and optional live video.
How does Timmy work?
One phone stays with your baby and the other stays with you. You connect the phones through automatic discovery on the same Wi-Fi or with a short code, then confirm the same safety number on both. Next, choose the baby and parent roles. Audio and video are transmitted in encrypted form.
What data does Timmy create?
Timmy needs no account and uses no tracking or ads. There are no cloud recordings. Temporary, encrypted connection data is needed to establish the connection and is cleared afterwards. See the privacy details.
What does Timmy cost?
With the monthly plan, you can try Premium free for one month when the store offers it. Afterwards, the plan renews automatically at the store price shown until you cancel. Premium is also available as a one-time purchase. Without a purchase, you get a total of 10 minutes of live monitoring; after that, free transmission ends. See the offer. Who is Timmy for?
For parents and caregivers with two compatible phones, each with an internet connection. You can combine iPhone and Android. An existing compatible second phone can serve as the baby device.
Do both phones have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
No. Both need internet, but they can use different Wi-Fi networks or mobile data. Automatic discovery requires the same Wi-Fi and local-network access. Across different networks, connect the phones with the short code.
What happens if the connection drops?
The app shows the connection status and tries to reconnect. If there is an interruption, check both devices and their internet connections. Do not rely on uninterrupted transmission; Timmy does not replace personal supervision.
